Fisconelmondo.it and AlessandroBonelli.it with XOOPS!  from XOOPS Project  (2008/6/3 22:00)
Fisconelmondo.it (May 2005) and Alessandrobonelli.it (August 2007) are two Italian websites published with a relatively long time difference from each other, but they share a common denominator, the Xoops platform! Both sites have been developed by me in a short time, thanks to the famous qualities and implementation possibilities shared by Xoops, that are well known salient characteristics of this platform. www.Fisconelmondo.it , an open window on international economics, is an institutional webzine realized for the agency I work for as an IT specialist (you won't need much time to understand which one it is if you take a look at the site). The original idea was created by the communications’ director that considered the IT panorama as mature enough for an editorial product focused on international economics. The webzine offers to the reader analysis and comments on tributary European and extra-European legislation, indications on latest developments in terms of normative and ...
SEO Paths&.htaccess  from XOOPS Project  (2008/6/2 2:10)
Well as you may have noticed I have been doing some examples in the wiki for .htaccess this is for primarily SEO Clean Paths for xoops, the modules I have chosen for the example in sharing this code is code for CBB (1.5, 2.2, 3.x), News 1.4+ (May work on earlier), myalbum-P, SmartSection 2.2, CatAds&the userinfo.php page. What I have been doing over the last few weeks is testing various SEO paths to see what brings ultimate traffic, remember in changing your websites URL you may get sandboxed for a few months as the search engine detects a sitewide change. Search Engine Optimization is an important step in making friendly paths for both Search Engines and the End Users, you normal for example use a dash (-) not an underscore (_) to SEO as this is detected and more compatible with a search engine algoritms, it is also helpful for natural language query. You may also find various other SEO improvements you can make to stop keyword stuffing (Example Titles to Keywords) and so on my wik ...

Video Tube v1.5 Now With YouTube Search  from XOOPS Project  (2008/5/27 23:10)
One of the most requested features is now available in Video Tube. We have added the ability to search YouTube without visitors having to leave your site. Along with the search function we also provide a video preview as well as video submission form auto-fill. We know everyone has been looking for additional XOOPS type features such as categories, comments and notifications but this feature is so cool we didn't want to make everyone wait for the next major release. Currently the video search feature is part of the Submit A Video available to visitors. We will be changing the Admin - Add A Video to utilize the same interface. We are also going to be doing some fine tuning of the feature so we look forward to your feedback as we forge ahead towards the next major release - Video Tube v2.0.
