WOX - World Of Xoops Welcome to the August 2010 issue of WOX (World of XOOPS) Newsletter - (see here previous versions ) As always, as the first thing in each newsletter we wanted to express our gratitude to all of you who have donated money to XOOPS Foundation ! We truly appreciate your trust and support! It looks that the majority of people are back from vacation, as the activities in the XOOPS world picked up. Several important things happened in July, of which the most important was the release of XOOPS 2.4.5 . DJ (aka phppp) also published the XOOPS Core Development Updates . Algalochkin showed us that there are many cool sites being built XOOPS using his themes, and Insraq shared with us some really cool new themes!!! It's also nice to see that the number of XOOPS fans on Facebook is growing very rapidly after Rune added a"fan button"to XOOPS Website. Add slideshow control 3. Easier way to add a slideshow How does it work with My Menus? 1. If you do not have My Menus installed, the default navigation will be displayed. 2. If you installed My Menus, you can create a menu and in the block settings, use the following: 1. Use skin from theme?> Yes 2. Display Method?> Assign to template 3. Unique ID?> navbar 3. The above is the recommended by My Menu module. After the settings, you can control the site menu using My Menu module. Again, I must thank Trabis, for his great module that provides us designers with an easier way to deal with the horizontal navigation menu. This is not a move to blue, just a final version of the famous"tag"module from phppp. It includes a bug fix related with footer.php file inclusion. This bug was preventing modules to make use of view.tag and list.tag pages. Download available here !

I want to show you the new free bleekk-x001 theme. - clean design - based on bleekk-fw theme framework - image slider - left column blocks shown as tabs - changed system templates: search, redirect, comments, login You can show any block as tab. The left column blocks will be displayed as tabs. The slider images are stored in the folder /themes/bleekk-x001/slider/ To change the images edit theme.html (line 116) Sreenshot: The theme is under the GPL licence. DEMO Download from bleekk.com
