Maitsco portal is a new free green xoops theme for portal and news websites. I've integrated the effect: Featured Content Slider , and many others ones (pictures and headlines are from cnn news official website) I also added an easy drop down menu in the header. As always, the PSD files are included, and the theme is avaialble in 2 languages: Arabic (visit www.arabxoops.com to download it) and English I hope you will like it and it will be useful for all xoopsers. XOOPS China is devoted to continuous improvement of the design. It?s been five months since the ?new? theme of XOOPS China was online. We make a improved design according to the feedback. This design is still blue-styled, but much livelier and cleaner. (Click the thumbnail to enlarge) We apply 960 Grid System to make sure that it works well in most browsers. Meanwhile we improve the efficiency of coding, to lessen the loading time. In addition to the new design, we shift from Mootools to JQuery. A lot of new features are created with JQuery. Just letting you know I will be attending part of HackFest in the Google Offices Tommorrow - When I last checked there was 88 remaining tickets. This year the Open Australia hosted event will be concentrating on mashups, you have seen one of these featured in on of my modules called X-Reaggregator. I will be representing Xoops as myself in Australia's HackFest 2009..

Inspire 1.0 Final Released

It?s been quite a white since Inspire 1.0 Beta released. You may wonder why even a theme has a ?beta? version. Well, Inspire 1.0 was intended to be applied on XOOPS China only? there was no release schedule. However, as many people were interested in it and wanted to get an copy. I released the source file after getting the approve from XOOPS China administrators. As you may understand, the first release was really in a hurry. The theme was not fully tested and many code related to XOOPS China hadn?t been removed. So many people find it difficult to apply Inspire 1.0 on their own websites. I have acquired a lot of feedbacks from XOOPS China and according to these, I make some amendments. The enhancement of Final compared to Beta (Changelog): 1. Fixed some messy code problems caused by encoding 2. The blue showcase area now displays center block by default 3. Fixed some CSS errors 4. Fixed a little problem of Green sidebar 5. ~ SAVE THE HORSES ~ HEAVEN?S GATEWAY HORSE RESCUE This project was set into motion to save horses that are abused, neglected, abandoned or no longer needed or wanted for any reason. Our goal is to rehabilitate these horses and find them good, safe, happy and loving homes. Homes where they will never again experience the traumas that they have in the past. If it is impossible to rehabilitate them, they will live out their lives with us. This project will pair human and horse. We will make sure they are properly paired. No ownership shall be released until we are completely satisfied that they are in the correct home. We do not want either the human or the horse to become unhappy.
