De Norske Snedkere is the new site for my carpenting company. It's in Danish only, as it is meant to be used very locally... I have redesigned the vista_k theme a bit. Normally i replace the logo image without blinking, but this time I actually liked the logo image that came with the theme, so I decided to use it... The vista_k theme is an excellent theme with an easy to understand Photoshop sliceing for the menu... I have used very few modules as i don't need much on the site: SmartFAQ has been used for a tips and trick module for home management... I have used two instances of myAlbum and removed most of the ugly little icons that comes with the module. For the'vores ydelser' section I used a'blank' module and made a block for easy online editing. The contact_plus module is used for the contact form and I added some html to the template. I have some great news for xoops for all the team and people involved, we now have our own complete section in UseNet, if you are wondering what UseNet is you may have at one point seen something like google tunneling you into a group like alt.topics or sci.facility or even soc.something this isn't actually google it is UseNet. Back in the BBS days Usenet was still there. Before TCP/IP was around it use to run on Netbeui and Netbios with it domain lookup and so on running over Netbios and sydnicate with various tiers of services using something similar to a push data system. You may remember something like fido net (fido7) and so on all BBS' this was all syndicated through UseNet. It is a great honor to be accepted as a project on some of the oldest and often picky infrastructure like UseNet, only the big company in there Omni global instantiations are available on UseNet (Newgroups) like Microsoft or Novell and so on. UPDATE: EXM-based Admin Theme for XOOPS 2.3

One of the great changes in 2.3 is that we can have now individual Admin Themes, that you can select from the Administration Panel. It all started with the very innovative work done by ForMusS with his ThAdmin theme. This caused phppp to rewrite the Core for 2.3, so it could accomodate more of such Admin themes. I was always a big fan of the great work done by BitC3R0 with his XOOPS EXM System , so I've decided to take advantage of the new architecture in 2.3 and to convert the Admin Theme for XOOPS 2.3. Download here... To install, you just need to copy the content of the zip file to: /modules/system/class/gui/ exm subdirectory. EDIT: phppp has made major improvement to it - now there is no need to make any changes to the core, and it also picks correctly the Module Images. Download the updated version above. Thanks phpp!!! , and make following changes to the core, which hopefully will be included in the final release of XOOPS 2.3.

CVD Announces Video Tube v1.6 Release

Video Tube v1.6 has been released and is now available for download. The release has been tested with both XOOPS 2.0.16 and XOOPS 2.2.6. This release introduces categories for video management, play video blocks, enhanced search with two different result display formats and total results with results pagination. The embedded player now offers a colored border option. Several data items acquired from YouTube have been added to the display under the embedded player along with a Display More Info / Display Less Info combination button. A parameter has been added to each YouTube search query so search results no longer contain any videos in which embedding has been disabled by the author. The Video Help page has been updated to reflect the new appearance of the submission page. What's New page has been added that describes the new features found in this release.
