Science Integration Program supports research that is directed at bridging the gap between science and humanity by integrating different fields of natural science across scales and domains. The program aims to establish a new field of study that targets societal needs such as environmental problems and life science phenomena that defy solution through application of knowledge from individual fields of science or that show difficulties in grasping the overall picture.
